What Does Year of the Rabbit Mean?
We’re now officially in the Year of the Rabbit, according to the Chinese zodiac. So, what does this mean and what does the rabbit represent?
The rabbit is the fourth animal in the Chinese zodiac. Rabbits represent the moon in Chinese culture and are seen as symbols of peace and prosperity.
People born in the Year of the Rabbit are:
- Kind, gentle, and quiet, which might make them seem weak, when in fact they’re quietly and steadily moving towards their goals.
- Quick-minded with good reasoning skills.
- Socializers, but find it hard to open up to other people.
- Faithful to those around them.
- Easily bored of routine and need surprises to liven things up.
Previous Years of the Rabbit include 1927, 1939, 1951, 1963, 1975, 1987, 1999, and 2011.
According to China Highlights, 2023 is predicted to be a year of hope.
